Sunday, April 12th, 2009OK, I write poetry at a grade 5 level - but I have fun doing it. So here’s my last creation …
Would you be prepared to ride
To a place you didn’t even know?
With no map, no direction and not even a guide
To find out how to go.
To make it tough, it won’t be easy
You’ll have to challenge yourself
If you stay, your life will be quite breezy
To go, threatens your status and wealth
Of course the journey will be fun
As you break all the barriers before you
It’s just a matter of staying on a run
And knowing that you’ll make it through
And yet no matter how hard you try
There will still be a catch at the end
You will not be able to arrive anywhere
If you haven’t brought along a friend
While the place we go is still a mystery
We should really get going their soon
Otherwise, by staying we’ll make the world a misery
And we’ll have to go and live on the moon
